Knafs - Warehouse Specialist (Part-Time)

Pay: $18 - $20 per hour, depending on experience and skill set

Type: Part-time (Looking for ~30 hours total. Willing to fill as one 25-30 hour position, or two 10-15 hour positions, hours between 9am-2pm, weekdays)

Location: On-site (no hybrid or work-from-home)

The Job

The Part-Time Warehouse Specialist plays a key hands-on role in keeping our day-to-day warehouse running like clockwork. This position works closely with the Operations Manager to support core warehouse operations: accurate order fulfillment, receiving and counting incoming shipments, conducting quality control, and assisting with ordering stock replenishment.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an active, hands-on warehouse environment, values accuracy in physical counts and inspections, and takes pride in getting orders built, packed, and shipped correctly on a part-time, flexible, weekly schedule.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Basic computer skills: spreadsheets, web browsers, email, etc.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in order picking, counting, and defect spotting
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform physical warehouse tasks comfortably.
  • Excellent time management skills to keep daily fulfillment on track
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to step in where needed.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Prior experience in warehouse work, order fulfillment, receiving, or quality control
  • Experience with shipping software (e.g., ShipStation), ERP/inventory systems, or Amazon Seller Central.
  • Hands-on experience operating light production tools (e.g., laser engravers, 3D printers).
  • Passion or interest in pocket knives, everyday carry gear, and tools.


Key Responsibilities

Shipping/Receiving/Inventory

  • Pick, pack, and ship customer and wholesale orders.
  • Assemble product kits and prepare items for retail packaging.
  • Prepare and label inventory for Amazon shipments.
  • Receive, unpack, and organize incoming shipments.
  • Count inventory regularly and keep stock records accurate.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and easy to navigate.
  • Help track inventory and identify when products need to be reordered.
  • Track incoming deliveries and communicate with vendors about shipments.

Quality Control

  • Inspect incoming products and materials for quality.
  • Identify, document, and separate damaged or defective items.
  • Follow and help improve simple quality-control procedures.
