And the black is only half the story. We did two things we've never done on a Lander before. First, the blade: a reverse tanto, which is a fancy way of saying tough tip, useful belly, and a profile that just looks right in the hand. Second — and this is the big one — we ran it in Elmax. It's a new steel for us, and it's a banger: premium powder steel with serious edge retention, great corrosion resistance, and the kind of toughness that shrugs off real work.
