THE Lander 2 Moondust Micarta

The Lander 2 Moondust is our second-generation Lander—bigger, smoother, and dusted in out-of-this-world Moondust Micarta. This isn’t just a scale color; it’s a vibe. The Micarta is soft yet grippy, like it was carved from actual moon rock (it wasn’t, but we can dream).

This is a wonderful knife with a super tight lockup and silky smooth action. It's easy to maintain and clean and the price is well below what competitors charge for this quality. It's lightweight but large enough to be an effective EDC and all-purpose utility knife. It's spent several days with me in the high desert getting plenty of use in and out of door. My only regret with this knife is not getting it sooner.

This is my second Lander 2 and I think it’s great. I have a large collection of knives and my Lander 2s are at the top of my list of favorites. Some in my collection are much more expensive than the lander 2 but I ended up not liking them as much. I’m rethinking what I look for in a knife and the lander 2 has everything I want. It has many applications in industries with no room for errors -- like on the brake systems of airplanes, or in x-ray machines. If you're using your knife in a setting that is going to get messy, micarta gives you a steady grip for the entire task and cleans up well afterwards. Plus, it just looks gooood.
