Warranty
Knives are tools. Screwdrivers, hammers, and pry bars are also tools. Knives are not those tools. Knives are for cutting, slicing, dicing, whittling, carving, and fidgeting while watching TV. We warranty your knife against any defects in workmanship and materials under those normal use conditions, provided you have maintained your tool. Maintenance includes: cleaning, sharpening, oiling, and thread locking.
We encourage knife maintenance and disassembly. This comes with inherent risks on the customer side, including ruining your knife or stripping screws. This is not a defect in workmanship or material, so we do not warranty knives customers damage during disassembly, including stripped screws. (Think of it like changing the oil on your car-- it's not Ford's fault if you cross-thread the new filter, lose all the oil on the freeway, and crack the engine block.) However, we want to help if you find yourself needing help with our products. Email us with any questions.
We don’t warranty knife abuse. This includes damage from prying, throwing, screwing, batoning, or loaning your knife to your neighbor Larry. We all know Larry messes up tools. If your knife stops functioning properly, discontinue use immediately and tune it. Give us a holler if we can help: info@knafs.com.
In no event shall Knafs be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special consequential damages, to property or life, whatsoever arising out of or connected with the use or misuse of our products. By using our product you assume the risks of a sharp blade and the consequences for failure to use as designed and intended when properly maintained.
