Warranty
Knafs Limited Lifetime Warranty
At Knafs, we offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the factory under normal use. Our products are designed and built for use as cutting and sharpening tools, as well as products for maintenance and storage. Knafs products require proper care and maintenance to function correctly. Use of Knafs products outside of their intended purpose is considered abuse and is not covered under warranty.
Whatโs Covered:
- Defects in materials and workmanship
- Issues arising from normal useโ i.e., cutting, slicing, whittling, dicing, carving, and good olโ fashioned fidgeting
Whatโs Not Covered:
- Abuse โ Using your knife to pry, throw, baton, spine whack, etc., is considered abuse and is not covered under warranty
-
Misuse Damage - Damage from assembly/disassembly (stripped screws, lost parts, etc.) is not covered under warranty. Damage caused by an outside party (loaning your knife to someone who abuses it) is not covered
- If your knife stops functioning properly, stop using it and tune it up. If youโre stuck, email us at info@knafs.com
- Blem Knives/Products - ย Blem means blemished in some way. Still a safe and usable, just not covered under warranty. No returns. This is what you get for a cheap knife, Amigos.
- Engraving-Related Issues - Engravings are beautiful but expose material, which can lead to rust. Misspelled words, names, and phrases input by the customer are considered the fault of the customer and will not be warranted
- Loss or Theft
ย
Maintenance Matters:
Regular maintenance goes a long way:
- Clean, oil, and sharpen regularly.
- Use thread locker when adjusting screws to keep them secure.
- Store in a dry place to prevent rust.

Disassembly Disclaimer:
We get itโtinkering is fun! Youโre welcome to take apart your knife, but be warned: disassembly carries risks. Stripped screws, lost parts, or incorrect reassembly can all cause issues. Think of it like changing your carโs oilโgreat if you know what youโre doing, but not covered under warranty if something goes sideways (like your thread alignment).
ย
Troubleshooting First:

Before sending anything back, weโll help troubleshoot. Often, a quick fix at home can get things running smoothly without the hassle of returning the product. If troubleshooting doesnโt resolve the issue, weโll walk you through the next steps for repair or replacement.
