THE Capcom Pocket Knife - Re-Entry Red

Houston, we have a… really freaking cool knife.Amigos, buckle up. Meet the Capcom Pocket Knife in Re-Entry Red. If you’ve been hanging around the Knafs universe for a minute, you know we love a good space theme, and this knife is ready for absolute liftoff. We poured over the blueprints, crunched the numbers, and built an EDC blade that feels like it belongs right on the console at Kennedy Space Center.Let's talk about the payload. The blade is a gorgeous 3.15-inch Sheepsfoot made from premium M390 steel. We gave it a hollow grind so it’s wicked slicey, and finished it off with a classy satin grind and stonewashed flats. Whether you're breaking down cardboard boxes or slicing up a space ration (aka a cosmic crisp apple), this blade handles it with zero gravity. But the real magic is in the launch sequence. We loaded the Capcom with a Button Lock, a Back Flipper, and a Fuller, all riding smoothly on ceramic ball bearings. The fidget factor is absolutely out of this world—you’re going to be deploying this thing endlessly during your Zoom meetings. We wrapped all that goodness in lightweight 6063 Aluminum scales anodized in a stellar Re-Entry Red. Topping it all off is a titanium pocket clip featuring a steel ball bearing, so it slips right into your pocket smoothly without chewing up your favorite pants. Best part? The whole package weighs in at just 2.95 ounces. It's premium. It's slicey. It's ready to go to the moon. Grab yours and let's start the countdown! 🚀

DESIGN INSPO

If you haven’t already noticed, the Capcom is a pretty unique design for Knafs. Designed by Matt Fitz, its design was inspired by the beautiful retrofuturism that occurred during the atomic age, and the space race of the 1960’s. Its two toned aluminum handle was chosen specifically to emulate the concept cars released during that time, when everyone looked to the stars for inspiration.

M390 STEEL

The blade is made from M390 steel, and its hollow grind makes it one of the sliciest knives we’ve ever made. M390 is a super steel known for its outstanding edge retention and corrosion resistance. The way this blade is ground, it will split atoms with Nasa-like precision.

IN-LINE FLIPPER

As Knafs first premium folder, we wanted it to have an elegant feel. That’s why we went with an inline flipper tab for the main opening mechanism - no pointy flipper tab poking you in the side while the Capcom is stowed in your pocket. But one opening mechanism is just not enough. So, we added a fuller to the blade for all that wonderful reverse flick goodness. If you’re feeling bold, you can also use that fuller to pop the blade open with a quick thumb flick, but this may require some practice.
