Someone asked me the other day why we keep expanding the Lander line. My response was something to the effect of, “Bakers gonna’ bake. Makers gonna’ make. Designers gonna’ design.” This is what I do professionally, and the new ideas never let me rest. Humans continue planning Moon adventures because it’s there. The Lander 4 is like that. I sat there looking at the Lander line, and I couldn’t help but ask, “What’s missing here? What's next?” An EDC fixie was an obvious choice. Make it pocketable. Interesting. Fun. Non-aggressive.

Fixed blade, drop point blade

The drop point blade shape is a favorite here at Knafs! It excels at a wide variety of tasks including everyday carry, camping, hunting, and general utility. The only question is, how are you gonna use yours?

Moondust micarta handle

What makes micarta so special? Well shoot, we'd love to tell you. Micarta is a fabric that is incredibly strong, lightweight, wears well, and is durable. It has many applications in industries with no room for errors -- like on the brake systems of airplanes, or in x-ray machines. Micarta can handle high heat and rough elements, and is a scale material that performs well even after it's wet. If you're using your knife in a setting that is going to get messy, micarta gives you a steady grip for the entire task and cleans up well afterwards. Plus, it just looks gooood.

14C28N steel

It might sound like alphabet soup, but Sandvik 14c28n steel is nothing to scoff at. It has great corrosion resistance, is easy to sharpen, has solid edge retention, AND is extremely tough.
